What is ieseblogs.com?
ieseblogs.com is a project that was started in December 2008 by an IESE student to collect and present all available blogs by members of the huge IESE community. The readership comprises applicants, students, alumni, faculty and anyone interested in more personal insights about IESE Business School
.What is IESE?
The IESE Business School of the University of Navarra is one of the world’s top ten business schools and has pioneered executive education in Europe since its founding in 1958 in Barcelona. In 1964 IESE introduced Europe’s first full-time MBA program and, subsequently, the world’s first bilingual program in English and Spanish. IESE distinguishes itself in its general management approach, extensive use of the case method, international outreach, and emphasis on placing people at the heart of managerial decision making.
Is ieseblogs.com part of IESE Business School?
No. We are working with the IESE community, but ieseblogs.com is not an offical part of IESE Business School.
How can I sign up as blog contributor?
Please use our registration form and tell us about yourself and your blog.
If you are an applicant, please note that we can currently only accept your blog if you already confirmed that you will attend IESE. This means of course that you have been accepted in the first place. We enforce this rule to maintain an exclusive focus on IESE-related topics
Can you tell me more about IESE and Barcelona?
We recommend to you to write to our blog contributors directly, if you are interested in specific topics. Alternatively, you can also contact IESE or mail us via our contact form.
Why do you advertise on ieseblogs.com?
Running a website is expensive. Costs are incurred through the development and hosting of this website. We try to partially cover our expenses with advertising revenues.
If you are an advertiser and are interested in publishing ads on ieseblogs.com, you can find more information here.
What is with the rounded squares all over ieseblogs.com?
The "rounded squares design" of ieseblogs.com was inspired by the map of Eixample, a major district in Barcelona. Eixample is made up of a grid pattern of square blocks with rounded corners. This architecture was conceived by famous 19th century urban planner Ildefons Cerdà i Sunyer.
Why can't I upload my photo if I am a registered contributor?
To be honest, we are still working on this feature. We will contact all registered users when the "photo-upload"-feature is available. Until then we apologize for the inconvenience.
